Bilateral Cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs Robert Dussey received on Tuesday the certified copies of the credentials of Jean Diur Muland, the new ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

During the meeting, the two men reaffirmed the strength of the historic ties between Kinshasa and Lomé and discussed prospects for consolidating their cooperation.

This protocol step precedes the presentation of credentials to the Head of State.

Togo is the mediator appointed by the AU in resolving the crisis in the Great Lakes region between the DRC and Rwanda.
