Foreign Minister Robert Dussey received the copies of the credentials of the new German Ambassador to Togo, Stefan Anton Messerer, late last week.

He succeeds Claudius Fischbach in the role.

In a message posted on X, the Minister hailed “the excellent state of the long-standing ties of friendship and closeness uniting the two countries.” He also reaffirmed “Togo’s unwavering commitment to deepening economic cooperation with Germany, with a view to a mutually beneficial and sustainable partnership for both nations.”
